Science Club- Wednesday or Thursday Afternoons

Come join the fun as we explore a variety of S.T.E.A.M (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) activities! We will begin each session with a children's book which introduces the topic the children will be exploring. The program will be filled with hands-on projects and experiments designed to enhance your child's curiousity, higher order thinking skills, problem solving ability, and team work skills. Each session will be based on a new theme! 

Science Club is held on Wednesday or Thursday afternoons from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 pm. Children who are registered for the 9-11:30 am classes may sign up for Lunch Bunch and then stay afterwards to attend Science Club. The cost of Lunch Bunch is $10 per day.

Ages: The activities are designed for 4 and 5 year olds.
When: 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Wednesdays or Thursdays
Cost: $20/day (for 9-1 children) or $10/day (for full day children)

To register your child for Science Club, email Peggy at peggy@zionlutheranpreschool.com . Please indicate whether you would like your child to attend on Wednesday or Thursday afternoons. Both sessions will be identical! If your child attends aftercare 5 days per week, we will assign your child to a session based on attendance. In order to provide high-quality, interactive workshops, the group size is limited for each week. Children may sign up as a "regular" which means that they will attend all of the sessions or just sign up for individual weeks. Registrations will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.
