Priority Order of Registration
The registration process is dependent on both priority status and the order in which completed applications are received. Priority is given in the following order:
- Students currently enrolled
- Church members of Zion Lutheran Church
- Siblings of students currently enrolled
- Siblings of former Zion Lutheran Preschool students
- Members of the community
Registration for the Community
On Friday, February 1, 2013, at 7:30 a.m., Zion Lutheran Preschool will open registration to the public for the 2013-2014 school year. Beginning on this day, interested families should call the school at (610) 948-3440 to learn about available slots. (Due to high demand on this day, we do not accept voicemail, email or walk-in inquiries. If the line is busy, keep calling! We have two phone lines available and take registrations from two families concurrently.)
If one of our open slots fit into your plans, we will book a tour time for you to meet with our Director, Fern Detwiler. Once you have a tour scheduled, that slot will be held for your child until the time of your tour. This tour will provide details about our school and a walk-through to observe classes in session.
At the end of your tour, you will be given the opportunity to enroll your child(ren). We will hold your child(ren)'s slot for up to 3 days. To secure and finalize your enrollment, please:
- fill out our application, which includes the "Consent to Treat Minor" and "Permission to Participate in School Activities" forms
- include a $75 non-refundable registration fee ($65 for a second child)
- pay your last month's tuition payment up-front (your May tuition payment)
- enclose a copy of your child’s up-to-date immunization record
New to the Area?
We also fill vacated slots as they present throughout the school year. If you are new to the area, please call us at (610) 948-3440 or submit this form to check availability. If we are full, we will save your name and address on a postcard to send as a reminder in December when registration for the upcoming school year is about to begin.
