Our Preschool

Our budding artists love to hang their art projects in the preschool hallwaysThe learning starts when the fun begins at Zion Lutheran Preschool!

Our preschool offers well-organized programs to foster the physical, social, emotional and intellectual needs of young children. We provide a positive approach to your child's growth and learning in an atmosphere of play.

Zion Lutheran Preschool welcomes all children ages 2, 3, 4 and 5! We are a nonprofit, nondenominational Christian preschool, an outreach mission of Zion Lutheran Church.

Our experienced staff, small class sizes and shaded enclosed playground are just a few of our amenities.

Our families reside in Spring City, Phoenixville, Royersford, Pottstown, Oaks, Kimberton, Chester Springs and the surrounding communities. We serve future students in the Phoenixville Area School District, Owen J. Roberts School District, Spring-Ford Area School District and area private schools.

A Glimpse into our Preschool

Happy staff, happy parents and happy children provide the energy for our preschool every day!

One of our preschool’s greatest treasures is our warm and enthusiastic staff. Our teachers are progressive in their fun approach to learning and attuned to the latest developments in early childhood education.

We currently have a staff totaling 27 teachers, teaching assistants and administration.

A soft circle time rug for group fun in one of our colorful classroomsEach of our nine bright and airy classrooms has small tables and chairs for group and individual activities, colorful rugs for play and circle time, cheerful kid bulletin board displays, lots of toys for imaginative play, picture books, art supplies, cubbies for school bags and more!

Every week, all classes visit our Activity Room on art days for lots of creative mess-making! Our Music Room is busy with lots of singing, instrument-playing and body movement, taught by our Music Specialist.

Behind the preschool, we have a private, tree-shaded, fenced outdoor playground with a large sandbox, swings, slides, playhouses, playground equipment and plenty of room to run, skip and hop! In August 2011, we expanded our playground with a new, large play unit, rubber surfacing and more. On rainy or cold days, our classes head upstairs to a spacious indoor playroom for gross motor activities, such as riding bikes, kicking balls and playing games.
